Santé is Cleveland's alcohol-free supper club, founded by Emily Tanski and Molly Cheraso of Verbena Free Spirited Shoppe. Each dinner seats guests side by side at one long communal table, with a prix fixe menu and zero-proof drink pairings.
Santé works as a talent incubator. Every dinner hands the kitchen to a different local chef, from James Beard Award winner Jeremy Umansky to emerging cooks, and gives them full creative freedom. A portion of every ticket supports a local nonprofit.
The Challenge
A new chef every month is what makes Santé special. It also makes every dinner a fresh sale. Guests are buying a seat with strangers, without alcohol, from a chef many have never heard of.
Santé needed a way to introduce each chef early, so guests felt they knew the person cooking before they committed to the table. The content also had to honor the chefs, who are the reason the dinners exist.
What We Made
We started with the people behind the table. An introduction film featuring founders Emily Tanski and Molly Cheraso tells the story of why Santé exists and what guests can expect, so first-timers feel welcomed before they ever book a seat.
From there, we produced a series of chef spotlight films, one for each guest chef, released ahead of their dinner. Each film is a short, documentary-style portrait: the chef in their own space, talking about where their food comes from and what they plan to bring to Santé's table.
The goal was simple. Put a face, a voice and a story to every dinner, so a ticket felt like an invitation from someone you'd just met.
The Results
Every spotlighted dinner sold out.
Across the 2026 season, the nine spotlights generated 36,587 views, 1,458 likes and 261 comments on Instagram. That's about 4,100 views per film, nearly double Santé's follower count and more than twice the views of Santé's other reels this year.
Much of the response came from the chefs' own circles: family, friends and fellow Cleveland restaurants. That put Santé in front of new audiences with every release.
The chefs got something lasting too: a professional film they can use to promote their own restaurants, pop-ups and businesses long after their Santé night.
